Journey Kids

Journey Kids is our environment uniquely designed for kids to have fun, be safe, and learn about who Jesus is! We would love for you to be a part of an amazing team that is leading the next generation to Love God, Love People, and Serve the World.

Be A Journey Kids Leader

Early Childhood Classroom Leader

(Birth – Kindergarten)

In this stage, kids are learning so much and soaking up everything you teach them about loving Jesus! Opportunities in Early Childhood range from holding babies, to teaching toddlers a memory verse, and dancing with kids for worship.

Elementary Classroom Leader

(1st – 5th Grade)

Dive deeper into the weekly lesson by leading kids in a guided discussion, hands-on activity, answering questions, and praying over them. Watch scripture come alive in the lives of the children each week!

Check-In Team

The Check-In Team serves by creating a welcoming environment for families. Meet first-time guests and share the vision of Journey Kids through smiles, intentional engagement, and connection.

Theater Hosting Team

Everything is bigger and better in our elementary environment and that starts with our large group element! Step on stage to host the service by teaching 1st – 5th graders the core values, monthly life application, weekly bottom line, and memory verse. All the needed information is provided; just ump on stage, engage the kiddos, and have lots of fun!

Meet Your Leader

Tammy Joseph - Family Ministries Director

Tammy joined our team in 2019 as the Journey Kids Director and became the Director of Family Ministries (leading children's ministry and student ministry teams) in 2022. Originally from Buffalo, NY, Tammy is married to her husband, Wilson, with 3 kids, and loves to travel and spend time with her family.

Tammy says, “I love everything about Journey! I am so thankful to be part of a team and church that genuinely loves God, loves people and is called to serve the world! My favorite part of working at Journey is connecting with new people and helping them discover their God given gifts and how they can use them to serve in the local church!”
