Kasy’e (aka Kas) calls herself “the crazy lady in the atrium.” If you’ve ever been to our Apopka campus, then you’ve definitely seen Kas running around doing an amazing job of leading our Connections Team! Kas started volunteering in the children’s ministry as a Pre-K Teacher for our Lake County campus, and eventually also started volunteering in our Early Childhood areas for our Apopka campus, and then in our High School Ministry as a High School Leader. Then, she came on staff to be the Hospitality, Life Groups & Missions Admin Assistant and that led to her current position as the Connections Director.
Kasy’e says “I love interacting with people. Being able to engage, connect and pour into our guests has been a life-changing opportunity for me. I have wept with those who are struggling, I’ve laughed and celebrated with guests, and I’ve been able to help guests take their next step from just coming to church to now serving on a team or joining a Life Group, etc. It’s such a great feeling to be able to be a part of our guests’ lives and their faith journey.”
Kasy’e is originally from Hawaii, and is a dog mom with her husband, Caleb. She says “The best advice that was ever given to me is from my mom: “Always smile and always find the good and positivity in everything you do even if you don’t want to.”
