Chandra Mohn

Adult Discipleship & Online Administrative Assistant

Originally from Sioux City, Iowa, Chandra began working at Journey in November of 2018 as the receptionist/admin support and funeral coordinator. She says, “I found out about the reception position in October 2018 during iServe after asking for prayer about a new job. I knew God was leading me to work at Journey and He opened the doors for me to do so. I was friends with Gary Wilkerson and his wife, Thelma, was retiring so Gary told me about the position opening.”

Eventually Chandra became Journey’s Administrative Assistant to the Adult Discipleship Team, and later an online administrator that helps facilitate Journey Online. She says, “I love being able to help the local community. There is so much need all around us and the community is hurting so I love to be able to help with food and assistance and minister to those in need.”

Chandra has a son named Caden who is 5 years old, and loves cycling, hiking, outdoor activities, going to concerts, and building things. A random thing about her is that she’s always wanted to be in the FBI or a detective. Chandra says that her favorite memory from her time at Journey is when the women on staff threw her a housewarming party.
