Our vision at Journey is to be a growing community of people on a life-changing journey with Jesus. As we follow Jesus, He will lead us to share the love God has for us with words and actions in our local communities and abroad.
All international mission trips have been cancelled at this time, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Just As You Are (JAYA) Ministries was established in 2008 as a prison ministry. Husband and wife team Al and Sue Hoover came from a background of brokenness, drugs and incarceration and were delivered from that lifestyle through Jesus Christ. They have been bringing hugs and hope in Christ into the Orlando Work Release Center, a Department of Corrections women’s facility where they finish up the end of their prison sentence. They have also been transporting these women to Journey Christian Church every Sunday for the last ten years. The women are provided a meal and fellowship after church with a team of faithful volunteers from Journey. The mission is to show up and love these women “Just AS They Are” in their brokenness, and plant the seeds of hope and transformation through Jesus Christ! It begins with a much-needed hug and God does the rest as we are obedient to His calling on our lives. Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison … (Hebrews 13:3)
