Curb Appeal/Landscaping Team – Grounds care, weed control, plant care, and pressure washing. No special skills required.
1st Impressions Team – decoration, care of walls, creative designing, organizing storage, inventory control, buffing and fluffing. No special skills required.
First Responder – Coordinates with Manager on Duty (MOD) when on site. Basic emergency assessment skills and defibrillator training (provided).

General Maintenance Team – Small repairs: patch drywall, paint, door repair, broken chairs and tables repair, maintain vans, hang signs, assist with first impressions team. No special skills required.
Safety Team – Assist and coordinate with Manager on Duty (MOD). Controlling any unusual situations and periodically walking the facility. First Aid and CPR training (provided).
Background check required
Setup Team – Set up and break down tables, chairs, etc. for various events. Assist with moving inventory and furniture.
Electrical Team – Repair/preventative maintenance: contactors, breakers, emergency lights, exit lights, replace bulbs, replace ballast. Experience in trade.
Plumbing Team – Repair/preventative maintenance for water fixtures, drains, annual cleaning of grease trap, and change water filters. Experience in trade.
HVAC Team – Inspect/preventative maintenance: RTU’s, split units, exhaust fans, grills, duct systems. Experience in trade.
Eco Journey Team – Create a new and expanded recycling program. Find specific ways to encourage kids, teens and adults to think about ways we can care for God’s creation. Participate in quarterly meeting and events to promote this ministry. No special skills required.
Parking Attendant – Assist guests in orderly parking of vehicles.
Entry Greeter – Smile; greet everyone entering and wish people a good day as they leave.
Connection Center – Answer questions; provide information about involvement opportunities at Journey. Sign up members for various events.
Information Desk – Answer questions; provide information/directions to 1st time guests.
Bulletin Distributor – Smile; greet everyone entering and hand them a bulletin; wish people leaving a good day
Children’s Information Desk – Greet and assist guest families on their first visit.

Preschool Group Leaders – Lead a small group of 1-4 year olds during each of the weekend services.
Elementary Group Leaders – Lead a small group of K-5th graders during each of the weekend services.
Elementary Power Up Hosts, Dance Motion Leaders, Tech & Production Crews – Assist in leading a large group production as either a weekly host who interacts and guides each gathering, help elementary aged students engage in worship through showing them how to dance and move during songs, help manage sounds, lights, and computer graphics, and much more!
Preschool or Elementary Coach – Help manage the flow of families through the hallways. Help new families find their classes and register their students. Help teachers by taking kids to the water fountain, restroom, etc. so they don’t have to leave their class.
IMPACT (Middle School) Small Group Leader – Lead a small group of boy or girl students as they discuss and apply the lesson they are taught each Sunday morning at 9:30AM.
REVERB (High School) Small Group Leader – Lead a small group of boy or girl students as they discuss and apply the lesson they are taught each Wednesday evening at 7:00PM.

Buddy Break – Be a Buddy (Journey volunteer) providing one-on-one attention to kids with special needs by assisting them while playing games, doing crafts, hearing and singing music, bouncing, enjoying pet therapy, watching live performances, and more. Vocalists – Audition is required.
Instrumentalists: Drums, electric and acoustic guitar, bass, piano and keyboards – Audition is required.
Technicians: Audio, video, lighting engineers/operators, computer operators – Some training is provided although knowledge/experience in each area is beneficial.
