Life is full of seasons of challenges and struggles. Many of these issues are so large and overwhelming we will not navigate them well by ourselves. We need the love and care of others.
Support groups are designed to provide guidance, comfort and care in Christ-centered environments.
The Journey to Recovery
Journey to Recovery is a loving, non-judgmental, confidential support group for addicts and/or their loved ones (codependents). If you’re new to recovery or have been in recovery for years, this is the place for you. Meetings are based on the Christian 12 Steps and are always open to newcomers. Join us in the Anchor Room every Thursday at 7:00 PM. For more information, contact Anita Burns at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the church office at 407.884.7223.
BEGINNING JANUARY 2014: Journey to Recovery will meet on Friday nights from 6:00–8:30 PM and will include a meal and fellowship time, worship music, large group devotional, and need-specific small groups. Stay tuned for details!

Are you grieving the death of a loved one? Journey’s grief support group offers comfort and understanding in a safe, confidential environment. The group meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 7PM in the Lighthouse. If you’d like to learn more, please contact Dana Duffie at email@example.com or 407.620.4122.
Does your heart ache for people who suffer life challenges such as grief, job loss, terminal illness, hospitalization, and loneliness? Then you may be the person Stephen Ministry is looking for! Stephen Ministry, a new ministry of Journey, will train and connect you to people who need your care. For more information, check with the Connection Center or email Harold at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Jesus was sent to “heal the brokenhearted” and “to comfort all who mourn.” Jesus, the Great Physician, wants to give us hope, comfort, and healing when we hurt.
In following Christ, Journey strives to provide help to those hurting so they can find healing and hope. We accomplish these goals through multiple ministries, including pastoral counseling, support groups, and prayer. We also refer to professional counselors when needed.
For help please email Harold Armstrong at email@example.com or call the church office at 407.884.7223.
