Life is full of seasons of challenges and struggles. Many of these issues are so large and overwhelming we will not navigate them well by ourselves. We need the love and care of others.
Support groups are designed to provide guidance, comfort and care in Christ-centered environments.

Do You Know Someone Going through a Difficult Time? Do you have a friend, neighbor, co-worker, or relative who has been struggling with the loss of a loved one, loneliness, cancer, a layoff, relocation, divorce, a spiritual crisis, recuperation, single parenthood, or any of countless other life challenges? Our Stephen Ministers can provide them with the focused care, encouragement, and support they need to make it through the crisis. If you or someone you know is hurting, contact Pastor Harold Armstrong at firstname.lastname@example.org. He can talk with you about how we can connect you or the person you know with one of our Stephen Ministers.
Does your heart ache for people who suffer life challenges such as grief, job loss, terminal illness, hospitalization, and loneliness? Then you may be the person Stephen Ministry is looking for! Stephen Ministry, a new ministry of Journey, will train and connect you to people who need your care.
Stephen Ministry is a one-to-one mentoring ministry to help those experiencing a life crisis. To inquire about the next 26-week training course, please contact Pastor Harold at email@example.com.
Jesus was sent to “heal the brokenhearted” and “to comfort all who mourn.” Jesus, the Great Physician, wants to give us hope, comfort, and healing when we hurt.
In following Christ, Journey strives to provide help to those hurting so they can find healing and hope. We accomplish these goals through multiple ministries, including pastoral counseling, support groups, and prayer. We also refer to professional counselors when needed.
