I Love My Church…
Because of Its Potential

Pharaoh king of Egypt is only a loud noise; he has missed his opportunity! (Jeremiah 46:17)
… Who do you say I am? (Matthew 16:15)
You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God. (Matthew 16:16)
… I will build my church and the gates of hades will not overcome it. (Matthew 16:18)
Week 1 – I love my church because of its promise.
Week 2 – I love my church because everybody’s welcome.
Week 3 – I love my church because it’s a church where nobody’s perfect.
Week 4 – I love my church because through Jesus, anything’s possible.
Week 5 – I love my church because of its potential.
Meanwhile his disciples urged him, “Rabbi, eat something.” But he said to them, “I have food to eat that you know nothing about.” Then his disciples said to each other, “Could someone have brought him food?” “My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.” (John 4:31-34)
The Word was God…and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. (John 1:1,14)
… The Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment…And I know that his commandment is eternal life. (John 12:49-50)
This is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. (John 6:39)
Don’t you have a saying, “It’s still four months until harvest”? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. (John 4:35)
But many of those who had heard the message believed; and the number of the men came to be about five thousand. (Acts 4:4)
Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me everything I ever did.” So when the Samaritans came to him, they urged him to stay with them, and he stayed two days. And because of his words many more became believers. (John 4:39-41)
I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation. (2 Corinthians 6:2)
Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, redeeming the time because the days are evil. (Ephesians 5:15-16)
1) Invest in People.
2) Invite People.
3) Include People.
