The Jordan Smelski Foundation for Amoeba Awareness was established in loving memory of Jordan Cole Smelski who passed away from Primary Amebic Meningoencephalitis (PAM) on July 2, 2014. Jordan loved Christmas and loved sports. He wanted all kids to get gifts for Christmas.
We invite you to be a part of this year’s annual collection of new or “gently used” sporting goods to share with kids in our community this Christmas.
Ideas for donation: bicycles, scooters, skateboards, footballs, baseballs, basketballs, soccer balls, volleyballs, helmets (either bicycle or baseball), gloves, cleats, shin guards and knee pads. Click here to view/print a flyer.
We’re collecting these items from Saturday, November 18, through Sunday, December 3. You may bring your donations of sporting goods items with you to any worship service. Thanks so much for joining us we serve kids this Christmas.
The Jordan Smelski Sporting Goods Store opens on Friday and Saturday, December 8-9, 2017. For more information, please click here.
