Visiting for the first time?
If you are planning your first visit to Journey Christian Church, consider completing a 1st Time Guest Registration form that provides necessary information about your child (children), including allergies or special needs. Providing this information online will help get your Sunday morning visit off to a good start. If you prefer, you are welcome to complete the form in person upon your arrival.
Plan to arrive at the Family Ministry Welcome Desk 15 minutes before gathering times of Saturday at 6:00PM or Sunday at 9:30 and 11:15AM. Let us know that this is your first visit, and if you preregistered online. We will have a small gift for your child (children), escort you to the appropriate classrooms, provide a facility map, discuss our Child Safety Policy, and answer any questions.

EARLY CHILDHOOD (8 weeks old through Pre-K Fives)
Since learning is so critical during these early years, we want to seize every opportunity to give children a great first impression of their loving heavenly Father who made them, and of Jesus who wants to be their friend forever. Our interactive lessons introduce developing vocabularies with words such as God, Jesus, and Bible as well as build a spiritual foundation on His Truth.
If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact Jill DeMoor at firstname.lastname@example.org.
ELEMENTARY (Kindergarten through 5th Grade)
Elementary students experience both Small Group and Kids Church during Sunday gatherings. Their small group widens the circle of influence and provides them another consistent voice in their life. Students also get to attend Kids Church, which is an opportunity to gather with everyone and engage the Bible through energetic and creative lessons, videos, and times of worship.
Elementary lessons focus on three core truths: I need to make the wise choice, I can trust God no matter what, and I need to treat others the way I want to be treated. These truths are amplified by a weekly concept, a monthly core virtue & memory verse, and 150 Bible stories over a three year cycle. Parents are also provided with tools like the refrigerator door and devotionals to help equip parents to be the spiritual influencers of their home and take what their child learned and discuss it at home.
If you have any questions or would like more information please contact Christina Spaulding at email@example.com.
Reservations for this programming are necessary and respectfully requested in advance by calling 407.884.7223
During our usual weekend gatherings, SS Kids provides one-on-one care for children with special needs. We pair a trained Journey volunteer to assist children in their age or grade appropriate Small Group. SS Kids volunteers are also available to assist children who are not able to mainstream into Small Groups with peers. The SS Kids program frees parents to attend Worship, courses, and serve in other ministries while their children are taught how much Jesus loves them!
Parents of S.S. Kids:
Please click here to fill out a consent form for your child, and click here to fill out an information sheet. Please print both forms, and after they have been filled out bring them with you to our Children’s Guest Information desk.
STUDENTS (Middle School & High School)
Once children enter middle school and high school they are challenged to make an impact that will reverberate around the world and for upcoming generations. Psalm 45:17 is our anthem. “I will make Your name famous from now on, so people will praise You forever and ever (NCV).”
IMPACT: All middle school students are invited to join IMPACT. We meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30AM, and at 6:00PM on Saturday evenings in the Student Center. Each week we engage in live worship, crazy games and activities, hear entertaining and easy to follow teachings, and participate in small groups to check in with one another and figure out the application of that message. If you have any questions or would like more information about IMPACT, please contact Caleb Donaldson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
REVERB: High school students don’t want to miss out on REVERB. REVERB gathers on Wednesday evenings at 7PM in the Student Center. REVERB also has live worship, always-fun games/activities, relevant teachings, and small groups. Small groups provide students another adult who will care for them and live life with them. If you have any questions or would like more information please contact Matt Sanders at email@example.com
THE BRIDGE (18-25 years old)
The Bridge is a time for all 18-25 year olds to come together and do life together. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month in the Kids Church at 7PM. We have a Bible study and then usually take over Starbucks to hangout. We’d love to have you join us as we bridge the gap between high school and adulthood.
If you have any questions or would like more information please contact Matt Sanders at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Journey values families. We believe that families are responsible for the spiritual development of their children. That is what Moses taught to the Israelites in Deuteronomy 6:
4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.
If we are lucky, on average, we may see your children for 40 hours a year. That’s about once a week after you take out sick days, vacation, sports, school, etc. But, you as parents, have about 3000 hours that are unaccounted for each year to spend with your child. So we are all about combining our two influences together to make the greatest impact we can in the life children.
That is why you will see the color orange all over the place…it’s a reminder for us all. When you combine yellow, the light of the church, with red, the love of the family, you get orange. It is the church and the family, synchronized, working together, supporting one another in the spiritual development of children.
To help come alongside you we will provide with you tons of resources, materials, and courses just for you! If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to contact Matt Sanders at email@example.com.
