“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another.” Hebrews 10:24-25

Journey believes life change happens best in community. When people gather with a shared mission to pursue God, to love one another, and to serve others, transformation happens. People grow and heal and become more like Christ.

Growth Groups meet weekly at members’ homes to study, to share, and to support one another on their life-changing journey with Jesus. Most of our Growth Groups are built upon what we call a “Lecture-Lab” model. If you imagine the weekend sermon as a lecture on Christian living, then the group meeting is a lab where you get to roll up your sleeves and discuss how the sermon works out in real life. Bible passages and thought-provoking questions provide the basis for the discussion.
